1. Acceptance of these Terms

By registering for or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. The Service

Lasani is a software-as-a-service application that lets a business connect its WhatsApp Business phone number(s) and share one team inbox to reply to end customers, with assignment, notes, labels, search, media handling and related features. The Service relies on the official WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta.

3. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate business and contact information and keep it up to date.
  • You may invite additional agents; you are responsible for their compliance with these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, phishing, malware or other harmful content.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Harass, threaten or discriminate against any person, or contact minors inappropriately.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, or any third-party right (including intellectual property and privacy rights).
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to other customers' data.
  • Use the Service to promote or facilitate any activity prohibited by the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.

5. WhatsApp Business Platform

The Service connects to Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. When you use the Service, you also agree to comply with:

You are responsible for the content of messages you send through the Service. Meta may throttle, restrict or disable your WhatsApp Business number if you violate its policies; we cannot override those decisions.

6. Customer data

As between you and us, you own the conversations, contacts and content you and your customers exchange through the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you.

You are the controller of your end customers' personal data and are responsible for obtaining any consents and providing any notices required by applicable law. We process Customer Data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Fees

During early access the Service is offered free of charge. We may introduce paid tiers or usage-based fees with reasonable prior notice. If you do not agree to a fee change, your remedy is to stop using the affected paid features or to close your account before the change takes effect. WhatsApp conversation and template charges levied by Meta are separate from any fees we charge and are billed through your WhatsApp Business Account.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by TravelDocx and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence to use the Service granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service (in whole or in part) if you breach these Terms, if required to protect the Service or other users, or if required by law or by Meta. Where reasonably possible, we will notify you before doing so.

On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) will continue to apply.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TravelDocx, its officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the Service. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TravelDocx and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your Customer Data, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law (including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy).

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The competent courts of Sharjah, UAE, have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under local consumer law.
